Traveling
to Port Elizabeth by airplane, you will be landing in
the suburb of Walmer. There is a vast amount of excellent
bed and breakfast accommodation in Walmer (radius of 3 km).
You are also only +/- 5 km form the beach. Shopping facilities
in Walmer are the safest and have the best variety in Port
Elizabeth.
Traveling
to Port Elizabeth from Cape Town, on the N2 means you
will be entering Port Elizabeth through suburb Kabega Park,
Cotswold and Newton Park. These suburbs are generally out
of the way of the entertainment zone of Port Elizabeth and
relatively far away from the beach (15 km).

to Port Elizabeth on the N2 from East London/Cradock.
You will find good accommodation is in the Summerstrand, Humerail
and Humewood suburbs. These suburbs are closer to the beach/sea
(walking distance, 3km radius). These suburbs are well centered
around the casino, beach front and eating places. These suburbs
have the main hotels and beach bed and breakfasts.
